Boot floor hooks/clips

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just purchased a 2006 octavia estate, i have the variable boot floor, unfortunately the two screws /bolts/clips that fix the top section to the side sections where it hinges are missing. Are they available anywhere?

I've tried Google and eBay with no success.

Thanks in advance

Thanks,

Looks like it's part no 1U9863348 i need!

Cheers

John

Just be careful about part numbers beginning with 1U, which normally refer to mk1 bits. Mk2 parts are usually label 1Z something.

I'll check myself later when I can back to my laptop.

Looks like the same part is applicable to both the mk1 and the mk2:

OCT    CZ    1997    2000 mk1
OCT    CZ    2001    2011 mk1 FL
OCT    CZ    2004    2008 mk2

Available as a complete clip assembly (item 52, 1U9864453 clip and washers) from skoda-parts.com.

I use the ones from my Mk1 on my Mk11 as additional ones. They fit but are a bit tight.

@Jdeath Unless i am missing something, I don't think the top section fixes to the side sections. It just sits on top. It does on mine anyway.

Unless i am mistaken the clips are for securing the cargo net to.

Hi tilt,

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but i have two holes in the false floor and matching receiver /brackets below. Looking at the exploded diagram above it looks like the pins go through into these?

Thanks

The raised floor is in 3 sections with the covering forming a fabric hinge between them, the rearmost part should be fixed using the Dzus ring fasteners which can also be used for lashing but are nowhere near as strong as the proper lashing points and is often why they break or are absent.

without the fixings the heavy false floor would detach in a roll over accident and cause further injury.

I used the whole raised floor and side pices from my MK1 in my MK2, not interchangeable but only minor mods needed for a decent woodworker/DIY'er.
