I've joined the citigo club

Featured Replies

Hi

I've just bought a 15 plate citigo. It's the SE model and was browsing around this site trying to figure out if I can add a portable  infotainment device and how? The car has the central connection where it would be attached but just can't work out if I can just buy the attachment and the Garmin or do I need to buy one specifically for Skoda?

You can buy any of the PIDs, whether Skoda, Seat or VW. My experience was that I plugged a VW one and it changed over to Skoda. If you had posted this in the main Citigo forum you would have rec'd a quicker response as people tend to only come on this part when looking for a specific guide. Also, if you had used the search at the top right on the main Citigo forum you would have found your answer. I'm not trying to be clever, just helpful. Welcome to the forums, and enjoy the little car, I do.

Joining the Citigo Club on Saturday :-) my previous two Skodas were Octavias. I had a Citigo as a courtesy car a couple of years back and liked how nimble it was and how sure-footed it was on snow. Last year I had an old VW Up! when I was in the Faroes and liked it as well, good fun and good-handling on the narrow twisty roads. I'm excited and nervous, this is my first ever new car :-D

Welcome to club folks :) I've been running mine on winters and love it in the rain and yes snow :D

It's a bit more scary in the high summer, so I just slow down a bit.

Still think I should keep my 13 plate, but I hardly use it now for trips beyond the walls I use the bigger older thirsty(2.5x) volvo. Every time I visit the fuel station, frequently, I ask myself why :D

Hi am new to the club I get my new Citigo in a few days time it's 63 plate. Is there anything I need to know before I go and pick it up that you wish you have been told befor you got one. Also how much dose it cost to fill up citygo I cart find an ancer anywhere

Depends where you live for fuel price, but roughly £40,  good choice, I am extremely happy with mine.

I'm happy with mine too, comfy and quiet on the move, narrow enough to avoid the potholes in the country roads around here. Handles well, not much bodyroll and from what I gather from friends and relatives - better built than other cars in its class.
