Can anyone  help me with vcds in sheffield got a 2016 superb estate 2.0sel

Depending on what you need doing I might be able to help. Have the older cable, so possible might not be able to talk to some modules. Up in Crookes if you want to pass by sometime.

Thanks very much but i dont know what needs doing or what i would be looking for no idea about the codes

@Tomcharlie123 May be best to figure out what you want done with VCDS first (as in what options changed/added/adapted).

Just want to know why its stopped showing my rear door on maxidot all other doors /tailgate showing ok dont know what or how to look for the problem

Does the interior light come on when the rear door is open?  If not I'd suggest the starting point would be to look at the switch / sensor for that as I'd hazard a guess it also triggers the maxidot indication...

The interior lights come on no light in bottom of door i think my lad touched the wires on the bottom light together and not worked since been through all fuses all ok

from memory it's not an old fashioned plunger in the door frame but a microswitch within the lock mechanism so you'd need to take the interior trim off and the inner door panel than extract the lock itself to get at the swicth.

Do you think it will have blown the micro switch then because it locks & opens ok

Probably just moved the switch slightly out of alignment.

How would touching wires together move it out of alignment?
