Warning message

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had a message flash up saying something like 'take your car to a garage, parking lever P' something or other with a triangle. Any ideas? It didn't give me long enough to spot it and hasn't come on again (yet). Does anyone know this type of message or is there a glossary somewhere?

Cheers

Matt

That's the one. I will read the thread, thank you. Hopefully its not wallet suffering

If you're out of warranty and have full Skoda dealer service history push for a contribution as it is a well known issue, as linked above.

Would i have that? It's a 15 plate. I just take my car to the garage around the corner.  Guess I'm in line for 100% costs then! Hopefully the message will go away......

Ok. It's definitely the message. So it seems I need a new gear shift assembly? How much is this as out of warranty and is the message more scary than it seems i.e . can I still drive with it?

£920 out of warranty,, and if the unit fails you cannot lock the car.
