Hi all ive got a octavia 2.0 fsi on a 55 reg and was after some advice my epc light comes on when i go over speed humps and goes off if i put brakes on could it be a dodgy wire on the abs sensors or a brake light malfunction 

A VCDS scan would probably highlight the problem, but I would hazzard a guess at the brake pedal switch at fault, it is a dual element switch, one side for the brake lights and the other signals the engine ECU 

faulty module under drivers seat.
