AUQ Engine upgrade help

Hi all, 

I am looking at custom fitting a large turbo to my car and do all the necessary internal modifications required to accept it. 

I will also be buying/getting made/making a manifold and exhaust system.

 

Ideally, what would people upgrade in the engine and what parts would you use?

 

I think:

New forged Pistons

New forged con rods

New big end bearings

new valve stem seals

new oil pump

new water pump

High HP capable timing belt kit

What power are you chasing? 

 

You can quite happily make 300HP on stock rods. Maybe even 350 - its aggressive torque that kills these, as long as power is smooth, the stock rods are fine. 

Realistically, they are the only major bit you'll need to change - they are very thing and snap with power.

 

Mainly this:

• Big Turbo
• Manifold
• FMIC
• S3/TT225 MAF Housing
• Injectors (550c or so)
• Turbo back exhaust (decat or sports cat)
• High flow intake
• Upgrade Rods (advisable over 300hp)
• Highflow Fuel Pump (Depending on power)
• Upgraded pistons (depending on power)

I am chasing 400+hp

I have a large blower already.  Mamba GTX2871R

Exhaust I will be sorting once all engine work completed.

I have new valve stem seals, Valves, bronze valve guides, oil pump and pick-up coming.

Looking at a new water pump and cambelt (any suggestions to hold the power)?

I have an oil cooler.

New radiator

I have a front mounted intercooler

I have an induction kit

I was looking at new rods, pistons and fuel system. I have some uprated injectors already that are: 850cc (4x used Siemens Dekka 850cc)

Whats thoughts on this, Also what fuel pump(s), fuel pipes (braided) and pressure regulator would you suggest?
What breather system/catch can would you suggest?
