Mystery beep

Featured Replies

I picked up a brand spanking new Karoq SEL 1.5 tsi last week and mighty pleased I am, however,  there is an annoying beep every forty seconds or so.  Can anyone make any (clean) suggestions?

Is it the speed limiter pinging while on the move? Somehow on my Roomie I set the speed limiter to 60mph and it was pinging across France until I found what it was and turned it off!

I forgot to mention, the beep is barely audible.

Any sign of error on dash or infotainment?

?

Could it be wanting to connect the phone by 'bluetooth'?

Could be as for some unknown reason I have to connect my phone manually everytime I have to switch on the ignition.  When I turn off the ignition there is the reminder not to forget my phone but when I switch off, it disconnects.

You shouldn't have to re-pair your mobile phone each time you start the engine.

Sounds like a dealer-fix problem, all deliberate beeps should be clearly audible.
