So fixed me mini whch is the car with the rack for the bikes.

 

Drove down to pick up SO's new bike at shop and while I was in I thought, I'll have a new one too.

My current bike is a Raleigh Kalahari with a Girvin flex stem I got when I was about 15/16. So 26yr ago. Think I'm due a new one.

Shop (wee independent bike shop) had a Focus on offer £845 for £645. I had a wee sit fit nice, spec was fine. That'll do for me.

 

Got home and I thought, what have I actually bought? Quick search online and I can't find it.

 

It's a Focus Whistler with 27" wheels, disc brakes front and back, Suntour XCR forks with remote lockout and a Shimano 2x10sp set. It's a dark matt green which I can't find anywhere.

 

However it's a big improvement over the old boneshaker. The Raleigh is going to my tight mate. It still works totally fine even if it is a bit rusty on the non-alloy parts.

None of 'em are green though.

I think it's a Whistler Pro 27.5. But must be 2018 since the 2019 has Rock Shox.

Maybe on page 84-85    or in the 2017 catalogue.

It looks like a 2017 Whistler SL 27
