Engine swap

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2010 Superb, (BXE engine). It has 193k on it, now I have chance of a Seat engine(A. I. D engine). With 89k on it will it fit my car it looks the same from the engine bay. Any advice greatly accepted. Thanks in advance.

There's no VAG engine with code AID - can you check again what it is? It'll be on a label on the timing belt cover.

Also, why are you considering a swap?

Hi sorry been a while was away. The engine code is ATD, this has over 100k less miles than mine and mine requires injectors. The engine is complete with turbo £100. I know the lad. So will it fit ? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
