Hi, new to the site so hello all. Recently purchased a rapid 1.2 SE TSI and it has the box standard stereo fitted. I am looking to replace this with a 7 inch screen unit with the usual sat nav Bluetooth etc etc. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks in advance. 

Early cars can have Skoda Amundsen plus ( about a 5 inch screen) with Nav, CD, DAB, BT, Park assist, Voice dialing etc.

Skoda Columbus also fits and has a 6.5 screen (for pre-facelift cars.)

 

Later cars (mid 2015 on) have a newer bigger screen Amundsen. Old and new units are not interchangeable.

 

I've had both old and new spec Amundsen. Good kit but pricey.

 

Some on here have gone for Chinese Android head units for much less outlay.

Thanks camelspyyder. Any ideas on what android unit would be compatible? I don't want to get something that doesn't fit or work in my rapid. Thanks. 

There is a search function on here at the top. Search the Rapid forums for "Android" and you should find what others have fitted. @igor_76 had one I think.

There is also an ICE forum elsewhere on the site.
