Now that Rover 75s are no longer an option...

Featured Replies

Hi All,

a quick hello from sunny Ireland.

I've been looking for a automatic leather equipped sunroofed estate since the demise of my two Rover 75 Connoisseur SEs.

I've been an active member on the  forum for that marque.

The closest match I could find to the rover is a Super Combi L&K DSG, I pick it up on Saturday. I'll pop a photo in here when i get a chance.

I've a bit of reading to do and I'm sure I'll have a load of questions.

Cheers guys, got a mail to say the Skoda service has been done on my car. It's 5 years old , one owner and 44,000 miles. It needed the standard service with gearbox fluid and filter. The journey begins on Saturday 😁

Welcome Niall and hope you enjoy your Superb!

There it is, fully serviced and ready to go. It's beginning to grow on me.

Looks great ! Is it a 1.8tsi ? Few things you need to keep in mind if it is ...

It's a diesel 177 hp, l&k. DSG box and sunroof. It's cream leather and brown trim. I had a similar spec in the rover 75s. There were a few issues to sort with it before I picked it up from the dealers. Really enjoying the engine gearbox combo. The fuel economy reported is better than my last car a Citroen C5 exclusive estate. If the superb had the Citroen hydroactive suspension it would be perfect.

Nice speck B)

Great pic.  That's the colour I wanted on my Octavia but it was discontinued on that model.

I'm in that doing unnessesary journeys phase with it. I'm trying to get to grips with the Columbus ice.
