To "3T1704X4" - I see, this is "Polar FIS". Do you know - is there any option to display the temperature of "DSG Oil"?

It doesn't list it on the website - I had a peek earlier. See here for a list of parameters:  Polar FIS MK5/MK6/8P/8J device

My car is a manual but I did see something for DSG in the list when setting up and selecting the ones I wanted.

When I get home I will have a look and post a pic.

 

Just checked, it only shows DSG Nm not oil, but they should be able to add it on a firmware update if they can capture radiator output temp (to see when thermostat opens)

If you fit one, best tip is to fit and tape a usb cable to the unit so you can update the firmware. They have released two since I’ve had it, wiper motor frame has to be removed to gain access to gateway, easy to do, but a PITA.

I fed the cable to the SC fuse box area, makes life easier.

To "3T1704X4" - Thanks for the information.. I would like to install this but only if I can keep a close watch on a few "DSG" parameters. Now I use a Tablet with "Windows", "VCDS" Software and a Cable and without any Problems I see the parameters of the "DSG". I will try to contact the "Polar FIX" and Ask is there any chance for my dreams

It may be that the DSG values would be populated if it was installed in a car with DSG? 

I know it can do much more that my gateway version allows, but those features just don’t show up.

For a small fee I could send you mine to try it out. I would need a large returnable deposit to secure against damage though.
