Sometimes when the car stopped during the slowing down gear box switching gears between D2 to D then D1.

It's that a problem?

Welcome.

When going to 'D' is that because you are off the accelerator and you have 'coasting function' enabled.

When coasting the indicator does show 'D' and not a gear. Not D1 or D2, D3, D4, D5 D6.

 

How old is your car and how many miles / km has it done?

Hello! The car is 7 years old 2.0TDI. My car don't have coasting function,but sometimes when i am stoping and the RPM is low the indicator show from "D2"->D->D1 when i am stoped the car.When the car is driving fast and the DSG keeps high RPM ,,then everything is normal. Maybe the software of the DSG?

Has your DSG been serviced to the Manufacturers Recommendation (schedule)  Oil changed @ 40,000 miles or sooner?

The oil on the gearbox is changed before 35.000miles

If I may borrow this thread with a question. My 2.0 Tdi does the same, but in any gear, under any load or speed. Sometimes several times during a drive, other times I can drive for hours without it happening. Not cool when it goes into D in 4th gear while driving up a hill. The engine revs up quickly, and sometimes it goes back before I can get off the accelerator. Can imagine what that can do to the flywheel.

Is it a problem for you??? Does it cause any dangerous situations. If not it may just be a glitch if you are lucky.

I'd be equally worried what it could do to any following traffic. Sounds dangerous..........I'd need toilet paper in the car.....

Yeah, but if it happens when trying to pass a truck uphill it is pretty scary...

No problem when i am acceleration. The car acceleration very good.That happens when the rpm is to low on 2rd gear (10-25km).Only in "D" mode.

Can i change the software on the DSG or is not good idea.
