Octavia to new fabia monte carlo?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I have some very very strange question to you....I'm from Slovakia and at the moment i have skoda octavia mk3 produced in 2013 and im the second owner...its 1.8 tsi 7dsg and its have every extra what was possible to add.

Now im just thinking to buy new car.... I usually use my car to go to work and shopping and etc....weekly i drive appr. 150-200km and i need something what is eco friendly :D ( i mean the consuption).

So the question is that should i change my octavia to all new fabia monte carlo which have less power, manual gear and its smaller (hatchback and combi too)?

Is it worth?

Thank you!

No, the Fabia will be a noticeable step down compared to the Octavia.

If you want increased fuel economy then moving from the 1.8 TSI to the 1.4 TSI or newer 1.5 TSI will see the benefits you're looking for, but without the sacrifices associated with moving a coupe of segments in the wrong direction.
