So they are launching the new Juke with the worst engine available to them with a vague Renault gearbox and no power at all. Sounds like a dangerous recipe if young people try and overtake anything other than a tractor. Got to love Bob's honesty.

  • Best is probably an Octavia as you don't need 4x4, and if you did an Octavia scout. 99% of SUV ownership is for fashion/poser reasons, most do nothing more challenging than mount a kerb at little prin

  • Hard to look past SWMBO Karoq SEL was £23,500 with the discount. Great allrounder wouldn't swap it after 16 months for anything currently on sale.

  • 2 Dacia Dusters for on-road, and a Suzuki SJ413 for when you actually need off-road?

I have always thought that when Thomas hears a noise in a media car that Skoda / VW should pay attention and be sure that the Production Models are not going out with the snagging fault.

They do though.

When Bob Flavin tells it like things are they really should listen as they are selling potentially dangerous cars that they have knowledge of as before their launch other models are getting software updates.

Customers should not have to wait for Updates that might or might not work because WLTP / RDE / RDE2 requires vehicles to drive like crap.

Updates should be tested to see if they still meet the WLTP / RDE results, or is it just another VW con / cheat?

Skoda were there first with a Spare Tyre well in Mk2 Fabia that might be filled up with H20.

They had no drain plug to easily remove though. People drill a hole.
