Just wondering if anyone else has this issue, but basically the radio in my new Fabia is a bit pants. DAB constantly cuts out when driving along, so switch it to FM and that is nearly as bad. Never had this on all my previous cars, but was just wondering if this just a typical Skoda `characteristic' as I really don't want yet another load of trips to the dealership for them to just dismiss it like they did with my Citigo clicking clutch pedal issue (which was never resolved)

Yes, my current and last Fabia had poor DAB reception. My last car, an I Ibiza was excellent in that respect. Regarding the Citigo, they all click and if you wind your Fabias windows down you'll hear it on them too!

Mine has had little issue in S.W. Wales. However, I do tend towards podcasts over some of the drivel spouted on radio.

We live in the middle of nowhere... so please tell me what this DAB and FM are.... 😛

Ah ok, just didn't think FM would be as bad, my old Mini's (the proper one's, not the massive BMW ones) i used to have had better reception that my Fabia. The Citigo clutch click was heard and felt when you first pressed the pedal. It went back to Skoda 5 times to try and get it resolved and was even escalated to the Skoda head office. They never managed to solve it though and told me it was a `characteristic'😒

Can't say I ever had issues with radio reception in my Fabia. 

It actually is a characteristic of the Citigo clutch, it's just the mechanism clicking. You can hear it because of the lack of soundproofing. On the facelift Up! you can't hear it, unless you open the window. It really isn't a fault.

I haven't experienced any problem with either my previous car (Roomster - FM only) or the current Fabia (FM and DAB).

Can't comment as I haven't had mine delivered yet... although I guess TuneIn radio works on android auto, so if you have a data signal on your phone you could try that instead.
