Unlock all doors by mfd or vcom

Featured Replies

Hello all

just got used 2014 rapid se connect 1.2 and are bowled over with it apart from one nagging problem I want all doors to open on a single push of remote control instead of just drivers door.dealer said I can do it by mfd display if I look in handbook but I’ve looked in book and can’t find anything about it.i have managed to get into settings but even this doesn’t have the option either so does it need plugging into computer and adjust it that way. Also dealer said its a chain engine and not cam belt I thought they stopped doing chains now as there was lots of issues if not serviced regularly

many thanks all for advice

Dealer is wrong. That dashboard / HU function is on mid-2015 onwards updated cars.

I do believe the dealer can recode the doors though for all open at once rather than driver only.

I hated this feature too and bought Carista and a Bluetooth OBDII reader mostly just to correct the door lock setting, but found lots of other mods to do as well.

Yes it's a chain drive engine. The last recall/redesign was 2012 so your 2014 should be OK (but my 2014 wasn't - turbo failure at 26k )
