I have purchaised my FL AMUNDSEN and these days I`m looking forward to give it. Do you have an video or some instructions how to displace the old one and fit the new one. Thanks in advance!

I don’t, but it’s very easy. There are 4 slots on the radio screen (on the new screen these are covered by the lower trim) and you must put a radio tool in each and pull the screen away. Unplug the 2 plugs, shave the connector down on the rounder of the 2 plugs and plug the new screen in and click it into place.

I recieved my screen. Mounted, it is working, but in the upper right corner of the screen have a lots of bubbles or dots, I can`t distinguished. Is it necessery to install new software version or this is screen problem. The screen working properly at whole! 

Аnd @SashaGrace I did not shaved the conncetor, becuse it plugged full correct. 

looks like water marks between the glass and digitiser, we have a lot of touch screens in work and it looks very similar, id ask for a refund of keep it and get a substantial amount back...

 

are they more noticeable on a white back ground?

Yes they are. On a white background they look alike orange. Now I am trying to vaporise it. Will post the effect after the procedure.

The German is Modularer Infotainment Baukasten which loosely translates as Modular Infotainment Platform/Toolbox.

Hi I have a 2013 Skoda Octavia which had the amunsden system in it. I have swapped this for the 2018 605M screen but am not sure what Multimedia box i need to make it work, as my current one seems to not work. Any help would greatly be appreciated. @SashaGrace

A 2013 Octavia will have a MIB1 Amundsen which has different screen resolution to a 2018 screen for a MIB2 - they are not compatible.

I believe the old system is an Amundsen. The upgrade is the 605M screen which i have installed.
