thay look alright actually, but hmmmm do it if your brave enough!:D

I like it! Although I think large cojones would be required to get it done.

....Or, perhaps a brass neck....

Ok, I think i like the idea.. im sure it'll look much better than this when its done..

but can somebody tell me if stripes will affect the oaint of the car? i mean if i wanna remove that in the future will the paint be different under the stripes??

thanks everyone

You may well find that as the paint isnt bleached by the sun (which I would guess you would get a fair bit of..lol) you will get darker areas of paint, especially on red.

They look okay, but IMHO, I would have preferred two stripes on the bonnet (down the creases, a bit like a Mini Cooper)? Black might be a bit too dark for the red - silver might have been better.

Good effort though and it's your own opinion that should be the only one that matters

The stripes look nice. But get your bump strips colour coded before you get those done.

Well if im gonna do the stripes.. i'll colour code the bump stripes.. but since im mostly not gonna do it i'll keep them black coz they look much better like that..

OK yesterday i went out to some places wheer they do stripes n i didnt really like the material of the stripes.. it looks very cheape..

can u tell me wheredid u fit the silver stripe on ur bonnet Mil?? or is it actually painted silver?

It was vinyl I had on (it's gone now), but was extremely high quality. I know the owner of an advertising company that does the vinyl work for Honda and the track cars at autodrome, and he did my bonnet back then. Only cost me a 150 dhs, and it was a top job, high-quality vinyl.

Thats really a good price for a quality product... wheres this place located???

  • 4 weeks later...

I like the first effort actually. I thought that stripes would look bad, but the black is quite smart and not as 'in your face' as the white stripes that are more common.

  • Author

Your right... White ones would look just so cheape on a red car.. but till i find a place where they do the strips profissionally, i wont do it..

voted, its a "narrr" from me I'm afraid. Removing and detailing the paint back to its orginal is a real pain in the ****

I would suggest that you move the stripes to one side.
