My blower stops intermittently help😢

Featured Replies

My fan heater blower stops blowing intermittently it’s driving me mad any ideas???

Lots of posts on that here - try the search but for a start, read through this thread: Blower fan - no blow

I’ve read the posts on this topic but they relate to the fan not working at all - my fault is intermittent seems to kick in randomly and stop unexpectedly! As a taxi driver I’m tearing my hair out🤪🙈

That might simply suggest that the fan is failing and hasn't yet fully failed.

If the motor brushes are heavily worn and sticking, then driving along and over bumps could result in the intermittent operation of the fan you're seeing.

Ok thanks for that info, so I guess I need to replace the fan asap 🙈

Its not guaranteed to be the fan, intermittent operation could point to several possible issues.

If you don't have access to VCDS I'd be tempted to pay the £15.99 for Carista to read any fault codes.
