Hi i have an oil leak on my 1.9 tdi engine its wet with oil at the front and high up behind the engine i think it could be the rocker cover gasket are these prone to leaking?

Usually the cam cover or the oil filler neck.

@Joe41 - Well, my first call with a top cover oil leak is always to check that the bolts aren't loose. Don't try to fix the leak by over-torquing them though; That just crushes the gasket and possibly breaks the bolt(s).
