My climatronic display is flashing at me when I turn the ignition on.

If I press the econ button it stops and all appears to be working normally. I saw on a VW forum that this is probably a signal that something is wrong with the system.

Anyone else had a similar thing happen on their Octavia?

All the controls (fan, temp e.t.c) seem to be working ok and the compressor is turning on. Not sure it's actually working though.

Only had the air con serviced last year :(
