Now I know that officially, you cannot fit a tow bar to the Cave VRS Fabia. My question is why? all i want to tow is a single motorbike for track days so no more than 250KGs. Is it simply a matter of issues with the bumper moulding? or risk to the dsg box or something else? 

 

If I can buy a tow bar for a different model will it physically fit? 

 

I want to do my track days but i also dont want to change my car. Thanks for the advice.

You can "officially" fit a tow bar, you just cant legally tow anything (on public roads), you can use it to hold the bike carrier though.

 

Only reason VRS and Monte Carlo can not tow legally is Skoda was lazy to fill in the paperwork. Mechanically there is nothing different and you can install any tow bar that fits the regular Fabia.

Nose weight is 50kg on the fabia therefore you cant tow or even put a bike rack on the back without issues.
