Cruise Control

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just new to the forum and Skoda.
Just got my car a week ago and about to do a long distance drive with it.
Tried out the cruise control a couple of times but nothing seems to happen.

No indicators on the dash that its on and its not maintaining the speed.
Any suggestions? Could it just be as simple as a fuse?

Thanks

Yes it could be.

More likely the switch though. A live data check with diagnostics would confirm this.

Did you make sure the toggle switch on the top of the stalk was set to on rather than in the off position?

Yes the switch was "flipped" to on

I would think providing it hasn’t had an engine ECU software update recently it will be pretty simple.

A faulty brake light switch or clutch switch (if it is manual) can also cause it not to turn on.

Hi All,

Sorry forgot to place an update here.
Had someone look at the airbag light.
He couldn't find the airbag unit in the beginning so did a full reset and it was cleared.
After this Cruise Controle and auto door lock started working without any issues.
