Thinking of buying a Octavia today. Do I go for a 63 plate 1.4tsi or a diesel one. I don't do very many mile approx 7000 a year. Any advise please.

The TSI engines are so much more refined, and quieter than the TDI's too.

 

The 1.4 TSI is an absolute peach of an engine. Be sure to drive both to be sure for yourself.

Bought a 1.6tdi greenline III estate. Which I needed , the tsi was a saloon Cracking motor . got advised by 2 mechanics 1.4tsi engines have shallow pistons and do go wrong. Cheers for the advise
