Oil leak... what goes here? AQW 1.4 MPI

Featured Replies

Oil seems to be leaking from here on my engine. First two pictures I've found online and circled the offending location, third picture is the location on my engine that's leaking oil.

Should there be a rubber bung or similar in place to stop this? I can't find it mentioned on any diagrams, workshop manuals, etc.
Closest I've come is that it *may* be OEM part number N90802701 but I can't get any confirmation.
Help would be appreciated!

I will have a look at my engine for you....

Yeah, it's a core plug/blanking plug.

Oddly, it's only showing one plug on ETKA but there is two. It's giving a quantity of two for the same part number but they are different sizes so a bit puzzled about that.

Presumably the part number is for both items at once.

Ah, a kit you mean? Yeah could be!

EDIT: Just noticed it's showing the same plug at the other end of the head, so that accounts for the quantity of two. Looks like the one you need isn't shown for some reason but I found a part number below.

I believe the number of the single smaller plug you need is N0119182 (12mm).

Cheers :)

Looked up the part number for the old rear engined Skodas, and the Favorit and Felicia which have the same plug.
