Heating/AC issues

Featured Replies

Ok so it’s been a while since I’ve been on here but it’s always been a very helpful site.

Now, my issue. My heating and ac was working perfectly one day, the ac was freezing cold to the point I had to turn then blower down as I was freezing.

The next day, nothing.

There seems to be normal change when when pressing the recirc button, with regards to air speed. When on hot it’s blowing ridiculously hot. When recirc and ac on it blows lukewarm but no colder.

I cant understand why it can be working perfectly one day and not at all the very next day.

There is is no damage to the rads or anything.

Hello! This may be a stupid question, but are you able to tell if your compressor is turning on? I.e the Revs go up when in idle, or you can hear it turn on?

Check the fuses.

I don’t suppose you know which fuses off the top of your head? I’ve had the interior lighting fuse blow recently, I haven’t put a new one in as It’s not urgent.

Fuse number 12 in the dash fuse box (5 amp - orange colour)...

Also fuse number 11 in the battery box (fuse 9 from May 2006). Both 5 amp standard blade fuses - orange colour...
