Hi all im planning on changing my driveshaft on friday my self just wondering whats the best way to remove it. Im doing this on my driveway if theres a link to show how to do it that would be great as cant find nothing on google. Thanks 

- Remove centre cap from alloy wheel

- Undo 30 mm driveshaft nut

- Jack car up and secure on axle stands 

- Remove wheel

- Remove driveshaft nut

- Remove inner flange bolts

- Remove bottom ball joint bolts

- Rotate hub clear

- Remove driveshaft 

 

To install reverse, remember to torque driveshaft nut up correctly. 

 

My only issue is i havent for a torque wrench 

Then get one or gets someone to do it who has the right equipment. 

 

Do you have a 30mm 12pt socket and spline sockets?

Well worth having one for jobs like this and doing up wheel nuts. I have a 3/8" drive one too which is good for lower torque things like spark plugs.
