hi,anyone ever had squeaky seats,its driving me mad,every time i go around corners or brake or accelarate they squeak.HELP before i get carried away in a straight jacket:eek:

I had squeeky seats in my car. It was great.

They stopped squeeking as soon as i got married. Strange that.

My front seats squeak quite a bit if they are right down on the boards, once I pump the height up a couple of times it stops...

I'm new to the forum, own an Octavia VRS and mine has just returned from service & warranty work, two items of which were a creeking drivers seat base & a rattling passenger seat head restraint (within the seat itself). Got these all fixed by replaceing them at no charge, but up until then I found that just tweaking the height adjustment up & down a little helped a bit. Also I now have squeak if the seatbelt pulls too tight on its engaging slot by the seat base.
