Paying for airbags in the 21st century

Featured Replies

I was shocked to see the configurator took £640 to add airbags to an SEL Scala build.

I think Skoda have got the spec sheet wrong on this one. £25K plus to get a 999cc car to match the spec of an old Octavia. Madness.

But it already has Front Head & Side and Curtain airbags as standard.

The only addition the configurator will allow on the SEL is the knee airbag at £240

You have to with the Karoq as well. knee and rear side air bags are an option. you get curtain and side air bags for front as standard.   Try configuring a sel Octavia with a old one

Skoda have charged for extra airbags for as long as I can remember.

£20 to get a warning on the dash when your windscreen washer fluid gets low is a scrimp too far though.
