Hi i have just bought a 2017 superb, i asked the dealer to make sure the software and satnav is up to date, they said they  did when i picked it up,

 

how can u check that the car has the lated sat nav update and software.

The thread @Bud linked to is really good for updating the nav database. If you just want to do a quick check then you can do it in the infotainment system. From memory you need to press the Nav button, then Settings (cog symbol), then there is an option called Version Information (or something like that). The latest update I am aware of is 2019/20. It should look like this.
