14 weeks of Yeti left :-(

Featured Replies

So... I have ordered a Karoq 1.0TSI SE Technology today to replace my much loved Yeti. Delivery is end of October so hope it will be before Brexit and any Tariffs that might be applied. Dealer has no idea what might happen if we do have a 'no deal brexit' but I have the option to pull out of the deal if the price changes.

Anyway for those interested, I got a PCH deal 3 + 35 at £207 per month including meteor grey paint. Saw one in the showroom in that colour and it looked great with the black interior. Anyway time will tell if I have done the right thing.

Hi Smokey, I'm considering getting the same myself when my current PCH deal ends, can I ask who your getting it from?

Thanks.🙂

Enjoy your last few weeks of ownership.

I did a search on Whatcar Leasing deals - https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing

Its a useful site which allows a search on a wide range of vehicles on different terms for private and business users.

The best price for the spec I wanted was at Horton Skoda in Lincoln, so I went to my local dealer and they matched the price.

Thanks for the info. I think I will do the same and ask my local dealer if he will price match nearer the time to ordering.

Delivery on the Karoq at the moment is 14 weeks, but you can have a 3 month informal extention to your current PCH at the same monthly price if you want to so you don't end up carless. I asked for a price from VW Finance for a 6 month extention initially, but it was stupid money - much more than the monthly cost of a new car so I just went for the 3 month extention at my current price which can be ended at any time if the new car arrives early.

My current deal ends 28/02/20 so I would be looking to take delivery of the new car on March 1st, My two previous cars,  (both Qashqai 1.5 diesels) on PCH) were timed to arrive on this Feb/ Mar timescale and this worked out OK. As you said with Brexit approaching who knows if this will result in higher prices on EU built cars, if this happens I would probably cancel the order and  order another Qashqai.
