Hi all,

 

First post! My 2009 2.0Tdi has a duff aircon pressure switch. I know it’s a fairly cheap part but can’t see the offending article in the engine bay.

 

is it down the bottom somewhere? Suppose what I’m asking is is it a simple home repair type thing? Can’t find any videos online

Down the left side as you look at it, not far from the compressor. 

Seen it now, not sure I’d be able to undo that in the space there is, unless it’s not that tight and just requires hand pressure.

A shortish open ended spanner and lots of scratches on your forearms but it is possible, once its turned initially it backs out by hand.

 

A 3/8" drive crowsfoot spanner is the ideal tool with a long extension and ratchet

Crows foot is how I do them. 

Ok then, I’ll give it a go!
