How to delete a phone number from the car?...

Featured Replies

Good Morning, All,

When I collected my new car last Wednesday the dealer kindly paired my phone for me (I'm quite a dunce at this kinda stuff) and transferred my phonebook into the car.

When I got home I noticed that my phone now had an empty phonebook!

I re-entered all my numbers into the phone.

The next time I got into the car the phone connected automatically, which is great, but then added all the phone numbers AGAIN!

I now have 2 of every name and number on my car.

I have searched through the manual and played with the cars phone settings but can find no way of deleting a phone number.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

It might be a better idea to go into the Bluetooth settings on your phone and ask it to 'forget' the Skoda BT unit.  Then remove your phone from the car's BT list and re-pair your phone with the car.

Thank you, Dave.

When I can pluck up the courage I might try that.
