Engine RPM's on a 1.6 Mpi engine

Folks,

Have started to notice recently that my 1.6 mpi Octavia is running up at around 3000/3200 RPM when travelling in 5th gear at 100Km/h (62mph). It seems fine at 80Km/h.

Can anyone advise what rpms theirs is running at or if theres something else I'm missing.

I've just done the clutch kit which resolved 1 or 2 other niggles and has left the car feeling like new. I thought it was a slipping clutch but no such luck.

Hello My skoda start keeping rpm in neutral around 900 to 950, yesterday i went for ride on motorway and engine light came on then few minutes after dpf light came on. Drove for 2 hours no issuses turbo works fine also power is fine, traffic was cray so was not able keep driving in high rpm. Will only driving in high RPM help to clear out or not? My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

I was never happy with the performance of the original brakes. The braking efficiency felt poor, and in wet weather the discs would quickly develop surface rust. When braking in damp or rainy conditions, the noise made it sound like I was driving an old car with worn-out brakes. After 50,000 km, I decided to replace the brakes. Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ?
