Key fob

Featured Replies

Didnt know if Anyone could help me with my key fob (MK1 SKODA FABIA VRS)
The lock/unlock button stopped Working and the light on my key fob stopped flashing. So we Went and got a new battery. It still didnt work. So we fiddled around with the battery connections in the fob and it worked for 5 minutes.
I ordered a brand new key fob and moved the battery and the board over and soldered it in.. This is still not working.
Every time I unlock my car manually the car alarm will go off until the keys are put in the ignition and the car is started.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Is the transmitter not in the board, so you have moved the possibly faulty part across to your new fob, I would have thought only unpicking the immob transducer and moving it across was all that was needed?

Edit:- are you talking about a separate fob or a folding key with built in fob?
