Hardwire dashcam and blindspot question

Featured Replies

I am swapping cars in a month. I have had a problem with my dashcam Cellink battery and parking mode was no longer working. So I removed it all a few weeks ago in prep for the new car.

I just found out my blind spot had disabled itself in the settings for some reason and I don’t know how long it’s been like this.

So my question is because my dashcam was hard wired into the blind spot fuse using a piggy back will parking mode only work when the blind spot option is enabled in the settings ? Could my Cellink battery actually be working?

My dashcam is wired on the same fuse and with blind spot off (eg. when towing) the cam still power ups so on/off makes no difference to power thru said fuse.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would make no difference but thought it best to check before I bin the battery and buy another for the new car. Thanks
