The 2010 1.6 I bought 6wks ago had a failed fuel injector today.  It's still well within warranty, so that isnt a problem as such, but I hear these engines are notorious for it: is it very likely to keep recurring??? Can/should I push for (most of) my money back?  I'm used to the unending reliability of the Mk1 and tempted to get another instead!!  Its a good car otherwise tho. 

How many miles had it done?

Check in the boot near the spare wheel well for a sticker saying 23R6 has been applied and a date. If so it has had an emissions software fix that can cause injector failures.
