your new stereo will be aftermarket yes?

 

you need a little wire that goes from your stereo to a ignition live that tells this brain “oh hang on, the stereo is trying to turn on” when you turn the key, that will then turn the stereo on. Once you have it all in front of you you’ll easily understand it don’t worry. If not, google or briskoda is your friend 😊

thank you very much, i really appreciate that :)  but i think i will get there. i am bit slow up there, i only need to read/watch things about 100 times then il understand it :D

ok an update, i have managed to get an aftermarket stereo, i have plugged everything in but it wont turn on. im almost sure i have got the right harness, upon closer inspection, i noticed the red wire wasnt inside the harness but i dont have the connector to go inside the harness if that makes sense. have contacted the seller to see what he has to say.
