Guys, i need some help from some of you modders out there.. i want to buy this ( https://consumer.huawei.com/rs/mobile-broadband/e5573c/ )

this is wifi dongle, so you put SIM card inside with DATA and you have internet in the car ( kids for YT, wife for FB or whatever , me i do not need it i am just driver and cache machine _

 

So what is the option to hide it somewhere, so it can be always on power from the car, but not visibile to outside people ( so i can avoid someone to break my glass cause of it ) ,

What you think about options, every modding advice is welcome.

There's a 12v socket in the boot I believe and it is 'Always on' so a simple 12v USB adapter will connect and power it. 

I have Columbus with SIM slot for data. Columbus can share internet access via WiFi

 

After checking and testing the options, there is no need at all to have Internet always in the car since it is useless.. my car do not have that honk and horn option, also when i park it i can tag the location using skoda app, so i do not really see point to have internet always in the car? you guys do you see something i am missing ?

Google maps  search on Columbus , traffic situation, other Skoda online services , Spotify , kids watching Simon's Cat on Youtube.... I found it very handy to have infortaiment act as Wireless hotspopt 

I have Amundsen infotaiment system in the car..so no SIM slot i can share wifi from my phone to car and also i have bought that mifi device which shares internet...so all is fine except playing YT videos, i can not play that whatever i tried..installed RockScout then LG miror  tested and read a lot and YT play.

Do you have BT Wi-fi ? Don’t forget if you do you can download the app sign in and use the hot spot and tether your phone,

I have the previous version to the portable Wi-fi it goes with me everywhere so yes get it and use it 

It might be the phone itself. Have you tried a different phone?

hi all, i made wifi working in the car with this mwifi device... but overall i really do not need it since in car package i do not have tracking or horn and hazzard ligts to blink when i need to search for the car so i only use internet when we go to some loong road trip and kids wants to watch something on YT...also i can not set Youtube to work over my phone but this is another topic

Hi, I'm new to the Karoq and AA with Android phone but it's not userfriendly. I would like to watch tv (DVB-T) on my Amundsen while waiting in traffic but no way to do the mirroring of my phone.
