On closer inspection shaft has snapped, and here is replacement care of Essex Turbo, fastest replacement I've ever had spoke on Monday they built it up Tuesday and sent out delivery weds, top company

£492 All in delivered plus fitting kit and idiot fitting guide, I've bought a new oil fed pipe although one on car looks like it was replaced when engine was replaced

Ouch! I suppose if you plan to keep the car a few years its piece of mind that you've got a shiny new turbo however at £500

 I couldn't hold myself back from going hybrid.

 

That's some turn around to get it hat fast, Spec'd to standard yeah?

 

Europarts price for a new one which I wouldn't trust is £1120

Reckon I'll keep her 2 years for my daily, for the year she's mint so not to fussed plus got her for way under what the dealers are selling them

Yep had a very little weep from turbo because garage that put in new engine didn't bother with new o rings, as there no mechanics eny more only fitters, and should have changed turbo aswell useless buggers

Well after thinking the seal had gone on new turbo turns out when first turbo snapped it's shaft oil went into exhaust so all good and sorted
