Key not found

Can anyone help?!

Ive driven my car home and gone to lock it. It’s now saying key not found. I’ve replaced the battery and still nothing.

I’ve managed to lock it manually but not sure how to sync the key.

If I hold the fob to the keyless start it will start but still says key not found. All the videos I have watched say to unlock and then put the key in the ignition but I don’t have an ignition. It’s push button. Any help???

Synchronising the remote control If the buttons on the remote control key have been depressed several times beyond the effective range of the equipment or the battery has been replaced in the remote control key and the vehicle cannot be unlocked with the remote control, the key must be synchronised. › Press any button on the remote control key. › Unlock the door with the key in the lock cylinder within 1 minute of pressing the button.

To get to the lock cylinder, you have to remove the plastic cap next to the handle. if you look at it from underneath, there is a little slot you can carefully put the key into and use to level/twist off the cap. Hopefully if you follow the above it'll start working again.

If it helps, you can find it all in the manual :) https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Model/Fabia_NJ Just choose the year above. You can search for sync after press ctrl + f (or cmd + f if you're on a mac iirc)
