I have a 2017 superb estate SE Business and Tried to make a phone call using CarPlay and I could hear the person but they could not hear me.  So when I stopped I had a play and Tried it on Bluetooth and same thing. Tried a second phone and again same thing. Tried the voice control and that cannot hear me. So I don’t think it’s the phones at fault but the microphone.

 

I did have a tow bar fitted 2 weeks ago and thinking that may be the issue but don’t want point the finger if not. Haven’t spoken to towbar garage yet about it.

I just fitted a towbar to my 2017 superb. It needed quite a lot of coding. Something could have gone wrong with the coding.  Maybe ask the fitter for the log of your vehicles coding?
