hi have 2014 Octavia and only the left hand side head light washer is working and no water getting to the right driver side any ideals thanks

Any leaks underneath? Maybe the pipe has split to the right one or dropped off?

Maybe a blockage? If one works, they both should.

no leaks checked think I have to take the bumper of to get at it

If you have just bought it, was it from a dealer? They are obliged to correct the fault.

i was going give them I call tomorrow because this would fail mot

Don't believe a headlamp washer not working is a fail, nevertheless, the dealer should correct any faults or at least make you aware of them before you part with your cash.

Is a fail for sure.

It's a fail on a car fitted with xenon headlights, it used to be a advisory on a car with standard halogen as far as I know it still is.

If it works on one side and not the other, no broken pipes then it’s most likely the jets are blocked. Not sure on the procedure to remove the jet from the pop up washer but once out soak in white vinegar and it will dissolve it or just ge replacement and clean the other for next time it happens.

Sometimes you get mould in the windscreen wash system and filling with white vinegar and water 50:50 and circulating it through the system cleans it all out.
