Hi Just a quick question I have an RNS310 headunit in my 2014 superb 2 litre business 

is it possible to get the head unit to give an audio warning when a text is received when the phone is connected via Bluetooth I have an iPhone Eight

Probably not as the headunit doesn't know a text had been received by the phone.

 

It might make a sound if you're listening to music via Bluetooth but that's down to your phone 🙂

on the compatibility checker on Skoda website I noticed mine and wifes Iphones were unticked for displaying texts - what does yours show? http://compatibilitylist.skoda-auto.com/

If its time to upgrade your phone, the motorolla phones announce calls and texts via Bluetooth and let you compose a text reply by speaking.
