My boring lunch time drive back from awesome-gti

A lorry lumbered out in front of, it was ok; heading for the motorway no doubt. Wait a minute a cheeky chappie in a focus was followig the lorry, he can bloody wait; out he comes. Me on my cold brakes stop and I syncially wave the wingnut out, I guess the international spanner association understood the insult of a wingnut and gesticulated back to me then to the lorry.

I must of missed the bit in the higway code which states if you feel like it a give way does not really mean give way, me bad.

So off he goes around the lumbering lorry; which was what I was about to do before being so rudely interupted. How I laughed when another lumbering lorry cut him off on the roundabout, I could not of scripted his little red lights suddenly coming on any better. So there we sat; me laughing just to add a bit of spice to this wingnuts afternoon...of he goes, I trundle along and catch him at the next roundabout; wingnut had not seed the lorrrys going the other way...

We arrive upon a small section of dual carriage way; a chance for us to stretch our legs, me in my 1.4 versus this dropped focus of grandure, I guess a 1000bhp at least....

God I've never been so bored following a car up to 70 as I was then...shame the pattern was full as the car was starting to pull in 2nd when we had to rejoin the single road. I know he wasn't really trying as the scent of burning oil began to filter through my tears of laughter....Yawn, I yawned again..then I noticed him...he saw me, our eye's met and he was off looking to overtake up the chuff of a lorry...now I could see what was coming as I executed the hang back get a good view plan.

I did think about going for a sucker see if he'd just pull out if I indicated, yes there was a lorry coming, yes I could of stopped in time; just long enough to suggest that give ways mean give way to the primary road; but I was hungry and bored of playing with the wingnut.

So I came back to the office and got tooted at by a lexus owner on a 2 lane entry & exit roundabout for I used the innner lane to go straight on (only a left and straight on anyway...)...I guess it must be Friday...how terribly boring.

I'm glad I went though ;)

A shopping list was left with Sarah ;)

Bit miffed now as I forgot to get the custard sorted...dam; I'll have to go back, need to find my charger too mobile is flat :(

Although arguably not as flat as the focus's torque curve.

Ever thought about publishing some of your finest works Colin? ;)

So common then you tease, what have Awesome done to the 1.4?

Too busy writing my masterpiece; how to settle an argument through advanced synical agreement.*

Actually not busy writing it, busy fixing all the typo's. I really should think about typing more during an earthquake; maybe the activity will cancel out my brains random signals of key pressing.

* I heard somthing similar recently; made me laugh so I thought I'd share it.

Although arguably not as flat as the focus's torque curve.
