wheel bearings noisy

Featured Replies

Anyone had problems with wheel bearing noise on the Fabia 1.2 2014 model had one replaced now the other is noisy?

Does this not just come down to the fact that they were initially the same age, one side failed and now the other side has also failed.  Maybe a scatter cash approach, but if/when I have had wheel bearing problems, I've just got both sides replaced to avoid what you have now.

Edit:- my assumption was that one side failed then the other, not one side failed, was replaced and has now failed again.

The Mileage is only 26,000.

So double bummer!

I had  a noisy wheelbearinng on front offside.26K milles 2013 FAbia 1.2TSI. As it was getting on my nerves I changed it and all is well now.

Lower miles might be half the problem. The bearings may well have got a flat/dry spot or something like that. Certain issues occur BECAUSE of low mileage and lack of use.

I have just done both my rears, only needed one though.
