Rear Vent Cover

Featured Replies

My son bought them for his Karoq. I thought they were tacky, serve no real purpose and you can’t normally see them anyway, so didn’t get them for my Kodiaq.

As per Kenny R above, there was quite a few people on the Karoq forum buying them. You'll get a few hits and pics if you search there, I'm sure.

Arrived today will try them tomorrow. Look really cheap (and they are) black plastic, will see. Did Not cost much

Caution!

There is not enough (warm) air coming to rear footspace antway, these will block air circulation entirely.

Risk to freeze your rear passanger toes. Do not use in colder climate (unless your passanger is your mother in law)!

What’s the reasoning behind fitting these ? Or for looks

I fitted them to mine. Young kids, toys, food, rubbish, grit, leaves, gravel etc. were finding their way into the vents.

Plus they looked like they'd been cut with a junior hack saw...

See here for the other plastic tat I've fitted 😂

Yes the do look in finished wonder if they do something to stop money going directly under the seat runners 😂😂

The vents in my E-Class are similar, a little smaller, and far neater, but a stone still got into one and I could hear it sliding left and right as I went round corners. It drove me mad and took me ages to work out what it was.

I couldn't reach it with my fingers and had to modify the hoover to suck the stone out.

Ah, silence 😂
