Superb 280 Front shock light misting - Warranty?

Featured Replies

My Superb L&K 280 Estate DCC - is out of warranty end of October.

Had it checked over at my specialist garage.

They mentioned 'light misting' on both front shocks - garage said this was quite normal - car has ~33k miles - do you think this is something I can put in a warranty claim for?

Garage is right. Not a fault.

Yep, perfectly normal and acceptable to the manufacturer.

Light misting = a very slight leak ?   And with DCC if it expands into a bigger leak and MOT failure .... a very expensive problem. So I would certainly be getting it checked out before warranty expires .
