And this one, which relates to rear parking sensors not working

Step one check all the earthing points are clean and well connected.

After that, check all the connections and pins for corrosion.

This may sound like a silly question, but where do you fill up with fuel? (and whereabouts are you located?), the first error has just popped up on my car yesterday. I know its probably due as its done 240000 without an issue, but wondered if there's been something in the fuel lately (Especially now its 7% bio-diesel) that's caused it.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

I live in Cornwall and usually fill up at Tesco as cheapest and closest to home. When did the new 7% biodiesel come in?

I'm pretty sure it was only the labelling that's changed rather than the fuel. B7 diesel should be fine as per the VW statement on biodiesel.

As for the faults, they mostly seems electrical rather than fuel related...

19557 and 19558 are likely related: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/19558/P3102/012546

17075 is probably similar to this: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/18068/P1660/005728

17055 might be a dead glow plug: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/17055/P0671/001649

01517 could be coding or a poorly fitted trailer module: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01517

Wow, that is exactly what I need. Thank you Langers.

Regsrding the parking sensors, the tow hitch is well out of sight of the sensors, as it is connected under the bumper. Also, they were working when I first got the car, but do you think it’s worth removing it?

I doubt it's the hitch itself, more likely that something wasn't coded correctly when it was fitted :)
